Guidelines for things you cant have for the domain of a function?
1) Can’t divide by 0
2) Can’t square root or even root a negative #, But you can do it to “0”
3) You can’t take the logarithm of a negative # or zero
What does an exponential graph look like?
As x approaches either -∞ or ∞, Y approaches ∞
What does a Logarithmic function look like on a graph and what is it opposite to?
Opposite to a^x, and as x approaches 0, y approaches -∞, and as x approaches ∞, y approaches an integer
Rational Function?
Ratio of two polynomials p(x) / q(x) where q(X) does not equal 0
Polynomial?
A polynomial is defined as an expression which is composed of variables, constants and exponents
What test do you have to do to make sure a function is a function?
Vertical line test
What test do you have to do to make sure an inverse function is a function?
Horizontal line test
How to find axis of symmetry of a function when in the form of x^a+bx+c?

Derivative =3/0? What do you do?
When the derivative of a polynomial = an integer/0, then the lim is = to positive or negative infinity
