What does a Solid yellow line mean?
Marks the center of the road used for two-way traffic
What does a Broken yellow line mean?
It indicates that you may pass IF the broken line is next to your driving lane.
What does Two solid yellow lines mean?
It indicates NO PASSING. never drive to the left of these lines unless you are:

NOTE: You may turn left across a single set of double yellow line to enter or exit a driveway, make a U-turn, & into or out a private road.

They are consider as a BARRIER.
Do not drive on OR over this barrier, make a left turn, or a U-turn across it, EXCEPT at designated openings
What does a Solid white line indicate?
It marks traffic lanes going in the same direction, such as one-way streets.
What does an Broken white line indicate?
It separates traffic lanes on roads with two or more lanes in the same direction.
What does a double white lines indicate?
They are two solid white lines that indicate a lane barrier between a regular use and a preferential use lane, such has carpool/HOV.
