Q

Why can we separate GFP by HIC Chromatography?

A

HIC Chromatography allows proteins to be separated on whether they are hydrophobic or not. Since GFP is hydrophobic, it’s able to easily bind to its column and separate itself from the rest of the hydrophilic proteins.
