what does melanin pigment do?
Absorbs UV light to protect cells against damage

melanocytes
what are melanosomes?
transfers melanin to epidermal
where are melanocytes found?
Basale
Where are melanosomes found?
through out epidermis
what is a mole?
Cluster of melanocytes due to over proliferation
what is a freckle?
melanocytes overproducing melanosomes
what layer is tatto deposited?
Dermal layer
