Positive transfer
when a previously learned skill has a benficial effect on the learning of a previous unlearned skill
negative transfer
when a previously learned skill has a detrimental effect on the learning of a new skill
proactive transfer
where a previously learned skill has an impact on the learning of a future skill
bilateral
the transfer of a skill from one side of the body to the opposing side
extrinsic
comes from outside of a preformer
positive feedback
feedback following a sucsessfull preformance with the aim to increase self-efficacy
negative feedback
feedback following an unseccsessful preformance, aiming to stop the occurrence of poor prefromance behaviours
