Q

Morals vs. Ethics

A

Morals are personally held convictions about right and wrong. They can come from various places (family, religion, culture, etc) and vary from person to person. Ethics are a philosophy or code of conduct for a society or organization– an individual can be ethical without being moral (he can violate his personal convictions without necessarily violating ethics- and he can be ethical without holding that code of conduct as his personal conviction.)

The Categorical Imperative

A

A type of duty ethics.
