pull skin down to one side, insert needle quickly and smoothly at 90 degree angle, inject slowly (10sec/ml), wait 10 sec before slowly withdrawing needle and apply pressure on the site.
tips for pain management with injections?
infants- sugar solution topical anaesthetics ice or ice + vibration (buzzy bee) distracting insert medication at room temp keep muscle relaxed break through skin quickly
