Vineyards sit around 380M in an amphitheater around Nimis. South-facing slopes, limestone rich soils, sheer from the Monte Bernardia hills lend this a specific terroir that’s special to the craft of this wine.

A

Red grape native to Friuli, found in Colli Orientali. May be bottled varietally, but is most often blended with Cab Sauv + Merlot. The name means “tongue stinger”, in reference to its strong acid and tannin. Texture is its distinguishing feature.
