What happens in a Force Development week?
- First half of week is activities (sometimes panned and organised by recruits)
- Second half of week executing expedition and staying out overnight (Designed to physically and mentally stretch you and give opportunities to lead in a real life situation)
- Day 5 present back with your plans/ contingencies/ what happened and crucially what you have learned and how you can apply it

- Test to put into practice all that you have learned on the course
- Expected to work hard for every other cadet in your section
- Fight through the tiredness and hurt to pass
What is Carousel (DECISIVE EDGE) in term 3?
- Officer cadets rotate through DECISIVE EDGE which simulates a deployed air operations centre
- Forced to think on your feet on a much bigger scale than before
- Augment knowledge of air power and basic air warfare
