Inverse FVGs Flashcards
What is an inverse FVG?
Inverse FVGs are FVGs that get disrespected within current trend that shows a change of trend.
What is another term for “trend”?
Orderflow.
How are IFVGs similar to Breaks of Structure?
IFVGs are similar to breaks in structure because they are confirmation that orderflow is not going to continue in whatever direction previously existed.
What holds more weight, an IFVG or a Break of Structure (BOS)
IFVG>BOS. Let’s say there is a bearish FVG. If that gets invalidated with a candle closure above it, but this new high isn’t higher than the most recent high, it is still confirmation of a trend reversal.
Are all IFVGs and BOS going to result in trend reversals?
No. Every confluence requires the appropriate price context in order to be valid.
