IFVGs are similar to breaks in structure because they are confirmation that orderflow is not going to continue in whatever direction previously existed.

What holds more weight, an IFVG or a Break of Structure (BOS)

A

IFVG>BOS. Let’s say there is a bearish FVG. If that gets invalidated with a candle closure above it, but this new high isn’t higher than the most recent high, it is still confirmation of a trend reversal.
