How does the CSP help?
- They work with a number of sports providers, including local authorities, health organisations, NGB’s, sports clubs and educational providers.
- Sport england also offers support and expertise to local authprities to help them develop sport in their area, designing and implementing schemes across the region offering support and advice.

What schemes have sport england put in place to help with disabled sport?
- Places people pay (2015) - £10.5 million ring fenced to improve the sport on offer fr disabled sport.
- Inclusive sport - money spent to improve the expertise involved in disability sport. Aimed at increasing number of 14+ and adults in getting involved in sport regularly.
- Get equipped - funding scheme to provide specialist equipment for disability sports.
What schemes have sport england put in place to help with females in sport?
- They are making women’s sport a priority financially with 46 core sports NGB’s in which it’s investing millions of pounds. It invested £2.3 million into ‘I will if you will’ to get more women to participate.
- ‘Women’s sport fitness foundation’ - to help sports bodies attract more women and girls to do the sports regularly.
- 2015 ‘This Girl Can’ - scheme desgined to overcome barriers to increase participation in sport among women and girls
- ‘20 Active Women’ -encourage women in disadvantaged communities and womenw ith children to be more physcially active and tackle the gender gap.
What is sport england’s ultimate aim?
Sport England and its various partners all aim to make a sustainable difference to the inclusion of underrepresented communities in sport and physical activities in order to improve the long term opportunities and health outcomes
