(BNSPT)
A
-
If inspecting 2 plain line tracks during a single inspection at daylight, the following rules apply the seperation between adjacent rail running edges is 3050mm (10ft) or less. This seperation may be increased to 3660mm (12ft) with RAM[T] approval.
1. The view of the second track is not obscured.
2. The track where observations are made is alternated between succesive inspections.
3. Each route through S&C is viewed seperatley! Through the 4ft.
4. Include 20 yard and 30 sleepers overlap so no track is missed at interface between inspections. This includes patrols near infrastructure not owned by NWR.
Some circumstances mean a more detailed inspection of certain features from other positions (e.g. 6ft) is necessary. (BNSPT)
