Refers to the ways in which people know / understand / see, and how things are passed down from generation to generation in a specific country or area.

We refer to indigenous thinking as part of creativity and this way of thinking can help solve problems in a unique and different way that the rest of the world does not know.
What is an example if indigenous thinking?
Using to your grandmother’s recipes or great-grandfather’s remedies or the techniques that your father taught you to do certain things.
What is a negative aspect of Indigenous thinking?
Can hinder creativity if it evokes fear by doing something in a new and innovative way, “because it has always been done this way”.
