Advantage of fixed immediate replacement
A
Psychological- if own tooth used, reduced impact of the “loss”, looks and feels the same and no need to remove as it is fixed
Biological- no additional soft tissue coverage, no increase in plaque retention, maintains interdental space effectively
Functional- speech is unaffected, cannot be easily lost, less susceptible to breakage, minimal need for pt adaptation
