Fast communication - access to information is instant and feedback can be given or received immediately. This enables businesses to make faster decisions and avoid missing out on business opportunities.
Reduce costs - the business can sell its products online through its own website. It does not need to set up shops around the world and employ staff. This reduces business costs.
Disadvantages of the internet
Hacking - cyber threats such as hacking occur when hackers find ways to access the firms data illegally. The hacker may delete or steal confidential business information.
Fake news - it can be difficult to verify the accuracy of the information. The business decisions may be based on false information.
Advantages of email
Fast decision making - feedback from mail can be received instantly. This can help the business to get information and make faster decisions.
Accessibility - emails can be sent and received at any time of day, even when offices are closed. This can increase business productivity.
