PS/2 Mouse
Connects an older-style mouse to the computer for controlling the pointer. Commonly found in legacy systems.
PS/2 Keyboard
Connects an older-style keyboard to the computer for typing and sending commands.
DVI (Digital Visual Interface)
Transfers high-quality digital video signals from the computer to a monitor. Commonly used for older monitors before HDMI became standard.
VGA (Video Graphics Array)
Transmits analog video signals from a computer to a display. Found on older monitors and projectors, but gradually being replaced by digital connectors.
Serial Port
Transfers data one bit at a time, mainly used for older peripherals like modems or early serial mice. Rarely found on modern computers.
eSATA (External SATA)
Provides a high-speed connection for external storage devices, allowing fast transfer of data between the computer and hard drives or SSDs.
USB (Universal Serial Bus)
A versatile port for connecting devices such as keyboards, mice, external storage, printers, and more. Found on virtually every modern computer and device.
Ethernet Port
Provides a wired connection to the internet or a local area network (LAN). Offers faster and more stable connections than wireless alternatives.
Mic Port
Connects a microphone for voice recording, video calls, or other audio input tasks.
Headphone/Stereo Port
Outputs audio signals to headphones, earbuds, or external speakers, commonly located on the front or back of the computer.
Line-In Port
Allows audio input from external devices like instruments, mixers, or other audio equipment, enabling the sound to be processed or recorded by the computer.
