What is meant by the term ‘directional hypothesis’?
A
States the direction of the predicted difference between 2 conditions

A
Simply predicts that there will be a difference between 2 conditions, with no state of direction

What is a pilot study?
A
A small-scale trial run of a study to test any aspects of the design, these are carried out with a view to make improvements before the actual study
