Your food enters at the mouth in which it is broken down and chewed with the help of your teeth and is mixed with enzymes from your salivary glands which break down the food molecules.This food then goes down to your oesophagus and is pushed to the stomach.In the stomach the food is stored and further broken down by acid and powerful enzymes .The rest then goes down to the small intestine where all the nutrients are absorbed into the blood.This moves down into the large intestine where it is flushed with water leaving only indigestible food waste which we then store in our rectum before it is pushed out of the anus to
What is the liver and what does it store
Bile is made in the liver and stored in the gall bladder.Bile is a green alkali liquid made in the liver and released by the gall bladder into the small intestine to help digest fats and increases pH so enzymes work better
