What is the negative procedure process of statutory instruments
A
- 2/3 of all SIs come from this procedure
- Parliament does not do anything unless it disapproves of the SI
- Parliament has to act within 40 days of the SI being laid before it
- Not debated but can be annulled by resolution of parliament

- Requires parliament’s approval - HOC and HOL
