Non-black African men and women (don’t fit into high risk groups and go undiagnosed as a result)

Those who have it with heterosexual sex
List the 7 high risk groups in the UK
- MSM
- Female partners of MSM
- Black africans
- Prisoners
- PWID (or have done in past)
- Trans women
- Partners of people with HIV
Also test all of those who have family/sexual contact with those from endemic areas

Anoreceptive sex - most trauma and high amounts of lymphatic tissue

Can this be done without a patient’s consent?
When HIV falls into ur DD for things like AIDS related opportunistic infections and unknown cause of EB virus like infection
If the patient is incapacitated and it’s in their best interest
What markers do we test for in a HIV test?
List in order of what marker becomes detectable first.
