Franz Ferdinand is shot by Bosnian Serb nationalists who want to be independent from Austria-Hungary. AH balmes Serbia without proof and declares war. Russia who is allies with serbia mobilizes military. Germany goes to war with Russia. France who is allied with Russia goes to war with Germany and everyone ends up getting involved.
