A

a GIT infection with verocytotoxin producing E coli

A
  1. contact with farm animals eating uncooked beef

2. bloody diarrhoea- shigella

A
  1. toxin enters gut and localises to the kidney causing intravascular thrombogenesis
  2. coag cascade activated
  3. Plt consumed
  4. damaged RBC in circulation through occluded vessels
