What is federation, EXPLAIN
The Federation of Australia was when, on 1 January 1901, the six separate colonies of Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia and Western Australia formed a nation with its own Constitution and run by a Federal Government, and when colonies come together to form a country with states.
What is a convention?
A formal meeting or assembly when chosen people come together to discuss matters of importance.

When people have a vote in the possible change of legislation or laws.

An important speech or meeting to advocate for a cause/purpose.
