What’s RAM

A

Random access memory that is volatile and will lose data when power is lost. It stores currently used files and programs.

What’s ROM?

A

Read only memory. It is non-volatile that doesn’t lose data when power is lost. It cannot be written to. ROM stores BIOS bootstrap so the computer is able to load and bootup.
