Explain the impact of California from the gold rush

A

The impact of the California gold rush impacted California was big because it had thousands or maybe millions of people all over the world travel to California in search of gold. It impacted California big because the news spree quickly increasing the population over two years to 14,000 to 100,000. This was bad because people were getting mad at each other the. the water rights law was placed making it so that you couldn’t cut off any field owners water supplies. The people mining got the nickname forty-miners. This worsens over the years because people didn’t stay in one place they would move when they heard of a new spot of gold. It impacted California because it wasn’t a state yet so there were no laws placed yet so vigilantes took place. Many girls stayed and worked in hotels, stores, boardinghouses, restaurants, and laundries to help support the minnors. While other women choose to mine in search of their own fortune. It also made an impact cause it made California more diverse and completely wiped native Americans.

Q

Explain how America achieved manifest destiny

A

The us finally achieved manifest density through a long process of buying the Louisiana purchase, that was once France, the buying Florida after Spain cede in 1819, then agreeing on terms with Britain for the Oregon country, then Mexico cession in 1848 and the garden purchase in 1853 and lastly fighting the American Mexican war after American annexed Texas in 1845 which ended their manifest destiny for now at least.
