female cones- woody bracts( scales) in cone that have female ovum
pollen is dispersed by wind and lands on female cones- on bracts
fertilization- male pollen grain has pollen tube to release male gamete and fuse with female ova to form a zygote- develops to embryo which is enclosed in a seed
seeds are dispersed by wind and have wings to dispersion as well as seed coat for protection and nutrients for embryo
