define cohesion
the tendancy for individuals to work together to achieve their goals, the forcers that keep group members on task
what are co-action sports
where you perform individually but your efforts contribute to the whole teams performance

when a group works together to produce results

what is task cohesion
group members work in unityand are motivated to meet a common aim
they may not socialise away from team or share views
what is social cohesion
group members get along and feel attatched to others
communicate and support each other
is task cohesion or social cohesion more important
task is more important, without it results would be poor
social can cause sub-groups
