Step 1: Power

Smoothly apply full power, bring the nose slightly above the horizon, transition to climb attitude.
POWER+ATTITUDE=PERFORMANCE
Airspeed will be between Vx 63 and Vy 79

After decent has stopped, and positive rate of climb, remove flaps in increments (100 feet intervals)

Step 3: Communicate

Do not rush to make a “going around” call. wait until removing the second notch of flaps to do so.
