What is an Alert 1?
Aircraft having minor difficulties but expecting a safe landing (ex, minor oil leak)
What is an Alert 2?
Aircraft is having major difficulties, and a difficult or crash landing may be expected (ex, positive fire on board)
What is an Alert 3?
Aircraft has crashed on or off the airport, or there is a high probability the aircraft will crash.
What category would this fall under in regards to an aircraft emergency?
Pilot indicates the landing gear will not work, and therefore will have to crash land at the airport.

In regards to aircraft emergencies, what category would the following fall under?
Faulty landing gear; no hydraulic pressure; engine failure on a two-engine large aircraft; fire on board.

In regards to aircraft emergencies, what category would the following fall under?
One engine out on four engine commercial aircraft or one engine out on a two engine general aviation aircraft; fire warning lights

What type of response would you get for an Alert 2?
2 engine companies (one being ALS)

1 utility truck

When responding to an Alert 1 or 2, where should companies stage at?
Glendale Control Tower at Gate #9
When is it ok to travel on the runway at Glendale Airport?
Only after confirming with Glendale Control Tower that the runway has been closed to all aircraft
Where do companies respond to on an Alert 3?
Directly to the site of the crash, after confirming with Glendale Control Tower that the runway has been closed to all aircraft
