Population distribution
Population distribution is how people are spread out across an area, like a city or country.
Population density
Population density is how crowded or sparse an area is, showing how many people live in each square kilometre or mile.
Migration
Migration refers to the movement of a person or people to another country, locality or place to settle there.
Natural increase
birth rates greater than death rate over a certain period of time
natural decrease
death rates greater than birth rates over a certain period of time
demographic transition model
a model to show population change over time through development
Push Factors
these are circumstances or conditions in a person’s current location that encourage or force to them to leave. Push factors can include things like political instability, economic hardship, lack of job opportunities, natural disasters, conflict, persecution, or environmental degradation.
Pull factors
these are circumstances or conditions in a different location that attract individuals and encourage them to migrate there. Pull factors can include factors such as better job opportunities, higher wages, political stability, better living standards, access to education or healthcare, reunification with family members, or favourable environmental conditions.

birth rate
people born in a given time period - per 1000 people/average babies per woman
