- he was afraid they would kill him because of her
- she actually was his sister (shared the same father)
What gifts did Abimelek bring Abraham?
- sheep/cattle/slaves
- told him to live wherever he wanted to
- paid him 1000 shekels of silver to cover the offense against Sarah before all who are with you
what happened when Abraham prayed for Abimelek?
he, his wife, and his female slaves were healed so they could have children again
(God had kept all the women from conceiving because of Sarah)
