What is the hazard associated with pressurizing improperly filled and vented systems?

A

Voids will compress when system is started. Water Hammer will occur for systems like SDC, RR and RWCU. This will ultimately result in loss of Rx Inventory

1) Wait approximately three (3) minutes to allow thermal overload to cool.
2) Reset the thermal overload.
3) Operate the valve manually through the first part of the stroke.
4) Electrically operate the valve.
