Q
What is the difference between a routable protocol and a nonroutable protocol? Which one is which: TCP/IP and NetBEUI.
A
A routable protocol contains a network id so it can send data across routers to other networks. Nonroutable protocols don’t have this info so the data gets discarded when it reaches the router.
TCP/IP is routable, NetBEUI is not.
