Côtes de Bordeaux overview
Debuted in 2009 to rebrand and unify numerous outlying appellations in Bordeaux under a common banner.

- the Premières Côtes de Bordeaux on the western fringe of the Entre-Deux-Mers
- the area adjacent to the eastern borders of the Saint-Émilion and Puisseguin-Saint-Émilion AOPs
- a massive zone north on the eastern bank of the Gironde that conforms exactly to the boundaries of Blaye AOP
