Longitudinal - between 3/9 line and 30 AA
Spacing - within 500’

Fingertip Visual Cues
A
Vertical - exhaust stack on wing
Longitudinal - exhaust stack between aft wingtip light and pitot tube
Spacing - forward edge of horizontal stabilizer and rudder hinge aligned

Crossunder Procedure
A
- Reduce power and drop below 1
- Add back power to stop lag
- Bank slightly to change hdg a few degrees
- Roll out and add power for nose-tail separation (1’s canopy bow on elevator trailing edge)
- Reestablish 1’s hdg, add power to get back in position, reduce power to stay in position

Echelon Turn Procedure
A
- Bisect horizon and 1’s fuselage
- 1/2 yellow rescue food visible behind aft edge of wing
Correction:
- bank = vertical
- power = fore/aft
- back pressure = spacing
