Hawkins classification
1. undisplaced
2. displaced and subtalar dislocation
3. displaced, subtalar and tibiotalar dislocation
4. displaced, subtalar, tibiotalar and talonavicular dislocation

Blood supply:
* formed by the 3 main arteries to the foot
* posterior tibial artery
* dorsalis pedis artery
* peroneal artery

Anterolateral approach
- inline with 4th metatarsal
- thick skin flaps
- elevate and retract EDB
- remove fat in sinus tarsi
- danger - SPN

Anteromedial
- medial malleolar to base of 1st MT
- bwn tib ant and tib post
- risk to deltoid branch of tib post artery

Fixation
- screws laterally
- medial plate
