Appeasement is giving into demands to keep something from happening. ie: holding the munich conference in germany, letting germany take sudetenland and relocate troops

Shops were wrecked, arrests were made, homes were searched, discrimination. After executive order 9066, internment was instituted and was behind barbed wire, dusty, you couldn’t leave, you had to work, ate in a cafeteria, an cabined with your family
