FMA’s Flashcards
When are FMA callouts required?
PF: below 2500 (expect autoland)
PM: call out any that the PF misses
What does the white A/THR mean?
Auto thrust is armed
What does MAN THR mean?
MAN THR is engaged; the auto thrust is armed with both thrust levers above the CL detent or at least one thrust lever above MCT detent but not in the TOGA detent.
What does the green THR MCT and THR CLB mean?
The command fixed thrust lever.
The most forward thrust lever is in the associated detent.
What does the green THR LVR mean?
Both thrust levers are below the CL detent limiting available thrust.
What does A FLOOR mean?
a floor conditions exist and the auto thrust system commands TOGA thrust regardless of thrust lever positions. TOGA LK when a floor conditions no longer exist. Auto thrust must be disengaged to recover thrust control.
What does green SPEED/MACH mean?
The most forward thrust lever is in the engagement range.
What does the LVR ASYM mean?
(Two engines only) one thrust lever is in the CL detent, and the over is below it.
What does flashing LVR CLB and LVR MCT mean?
Flashes white to prompt setting the operating thrust lever in the associated detent.
What does the yellow THR LK mean?
Flashes amber indicating A/THR disconnection due to failure of the automation system (or the FCU A/THR button being selected) master caution lights flash and single chime sounds every 5 seconds.
What’s does SRS command during takeoff, single engine, go-around, and windshear?
Takeoff: 2 engines V2+10
Single engine: speed existing at time no lower than V2.
Go-around: speed existing at the time no lower than VAPP.
Windshear: allows speed to decrease to maintain a minimum of a 120 fpm.
What does EXP CLB & EXP DES mean?
EXP CLB goes to green dot.
EXP DES goes to .80/340
What does OP CLB and OP DES mean?
Fixed thrust and ignores all constraints.
What does RWY TRK and GA TRK mean?
The track at the time of engagement.
What does -FD1 mean?
Capt FD off.
FO FD is on and using FMGC 1 data because FMGC 2 is not valid.
