What are common aroma’s on the nose within fragrant & floral?
Nose
- Gesnoeide bloemen/fresh cut flowers
- Fruitbloesem/fruit blossom
- Versgemaaid gras/cut grass
- Apple, pear, melon
What are common aroma’s on the palate within fragrant & floral?
- Light, lichtelijk zoet/slightly sweet
- Hoge zuurgraad/fresh acidity
Use them as an aperitif or breakfast whisky

Nose
- Droger op de neus/ Dryer on nose
- Knapperig/Crispy
- koekerig/cookie like
- Dusty = Melig/flour, breakfast cereal, notig/nutty

Droog/dry, maar gebalanceerd door zoetheid van eikenhout
Gebruik als aperitief of ontbijt whisky

Steenvruchten/Ripe orchard fruit = Perzik/Peach, Abrikoos/abricot, more exotic like mango
Vanilla
Coconut
Custard-like aromas of American oak
What are common aroma’s on the palate within Fruity & Spicy?
Spiciness is found on the finish, tends to be sweet (Kaneel/Cinnamon & Nootmuskaat/Nutmeg)

Gedroogd fruit (Rozijnen, vijgen, dadels, witte rozijnen), this shows European ex sherry vaten/casks.
What are common aroma’s on the palate within Rich & Round | Rijk & Rond?
Lichtelijk droger/Slightly drier feel, that’s tannin from the oak (Sometimes sweet or meaty)
Best after dinner.

Peat aroma’s (Roet/soot, lapsang souchong tea, teer/tar, gerookte haring/kippers, smoked bacon, burning heather, wood smoke)
What are common aroma’s on the palate within smoky & peaty?
Lichtelijk olieachtige textuur/ sightly oily texture,
En alle rokerige whisky’s hebben een gebalanceerde sweet spot/all peaty whiskeys must have a balancing “sweet spot”
