It is a measure of the maximum volume of oxygen that a athlete can use. It is measured in millimetres per kilo of bodyweight per minute
What is a field test?
It’s a test that replicates the environment in which the client will use for fitness. An example if the test is performed outdoors, the client works out outdoors
What is a sub max predicted test?
When a client is tested under maximum heart rate
How do you calculate someone’s maximum heart rate?
220- age
What are the different types of tests you can perform on a client?
Treadmill tests, cycle tests, field tests, and step tests (these are categories, there are specific tests that fall under these)
