superior rectus muscle
allows eyes to look directly upward
inferior rectus
allows eye to look directly downward
medial rectus
allows eye to look towards nose
lateral rectus
allows eye to look outward away from body
superior oblique
allows eye to look up and medially
inferior oblique
look downward and medially
Ears: semicircular canals
ducts filled with endolymph and the fluid shifts when we do so it gives us a sense of where we are in space, if damaged leads to changes in balance or vertigo
Ears: cochlea
main structure that allows us to hear, if damaged leads to ringing of ears or some type of hearing loss
Ears: middle
hammer, anvil, stirrup help to amplify sound as it travels to cochlea through tympanic membrane
