A

These indicators are a numerical measure of quality of life in a country, showing how developed it is.

A

An indicator itself could have been inaccurately collected through census information or simply not published. i.e countries like Syria have other priorities.

Energy consumption could be inflated in colder climates, for example Russia uses more heating per person than tropical countries.

One indicator cannot give a full picture of development as a country may focus on a particular aspect of development like education. For example Moldova has 99% literacy rate.

Some countries have quite a high % of its pop. employed in agriculture but its farming system can be highly mechanised, i.e Ireland is 10% as of 2014

A

Calories per day can be an inaccurate measure as in some countries people only eat one type of food, so not a balanced diet. i.e Malawi has mainly a maize based diet
