Gibbons v. Ogden i
deciding that New York did not have the right to create a steamboat monopoly on the Hudson River - Article I, Section 8, that allows Congress to regulate commerce “among the several states.”
McCulloch v. Maryland
whether Congress had the power to charter a bank and whether the state of Maryland had the power to tax that bank. The ruling was that congress could.
Dred Scott v. Sandford
ruling was that Congress does not have the power to make laws for territories, like one to outlaw slavery.
Cooley v. Board of Wardens
ruling was that States can regulate some parts of interstate business if local interests require it.

The last bill of rights amendment to be incorporated into the states - the 2nd amendment
mapp v Ohio
applied the exclusionary rule in states saying that uncontitutional evidence cannot be used n court
