Q

What does COMT do?

A

Breaks down Ldopa in the periphery to OMD. Also breaks down Dopamine in the brain to 3 MT. We don’t want these things to happen. We want most of Ldopa to get into the brain. And we want dopamine to stay dopamine in the brain
