Reasons as to why men and women look for different things in a relationship from an evolutionary point of view.

Certain traits such as age, personality, interests, children and attractiveness.

The opposite sex deciding what traits are passed on.
Do the traits that are passed on through sexual selection help with survival?
No.
What do the traits that are passed on through sexual selection do?
Attract the opposite sex, therefore they get passed on.
Are the traits that are passed on through sexual selection or were in the cave-period always physical?
No.
What does sexual selection claim is present due to anisogamy?
We are looking for certain traits but also that men and women are looking for different traits.
What is the trait that sexual selection and anisogamy suggest is sought by both men and women?
Attractiveness.
