Q
DNA Hybridisation
A
- Take DNA from two species
- Heat DNA to 95°, separates into single strands
- Mix them together & then cool
- To determine how related the speces are, “hybrid” double Stranded DNA is heated. The hotter the temp required to break H bonds between stands, the more H bonds there must be.
Meaning there are more complementary bases & the bases are more closely related.
