Blind experiment (Double Blind)

A

Involves the use of placebo
Subjects do not know whether they are getting the treatment or whether they are in the control group

Neither the subject nor the experimenter know which is placebo and which is treatment

Reduces bias

Cross-over experiment

A

In one part of the experiment a group receives the placebo and in the second part the same group received the treatment.
