basiclaly not the same - council of europe deos not make binding law

A

1973 after de gaulle gone - prevented them before
EEC Created under the Treaty of Rome
Aimed to bring economic integration in member states - even closer union within Europe, create a common market and eliminate trade barriers
common agricultural policy
