- many tried leaving but couldn’t
- they resisted, ghettos revolted, people escaped from camps, they continued to seek asylum.

Nazi censorship
- Book burning, for example they burned Helen Keller’s (she was blind and death).
- political prisoners were arrested for expressing contrasting ideas, this includes communists.
Nazi propaganda
- school children were indoctrinated
- Hitler Youth
- Hitler’s speeches were broadcasted over radio, rallies were held.
- Newspapers (Jews were banned from producing them, goebbels ministry of propaganda sent out daily instructions to newspapers, ‘The Attacker’ encouraged attacking Jews)
- Anti-Jewish movies were produced (The Eternal Jew)

Leader of the SS and leading member of the Nazi Party.

Leader of the Nazi party, chancellor of Germany and the Fuhrer of Nazi Germany.

Mass persecution and genocide committed against Jews, black people, people with disabilities, gypsies, mentally ill people and Jehovah’s witnesses
