The variation caused by an organism’s environment.
E.g. Hairstyle, clothes, etc…
Continuous data
That can have any data
E.g. Height, weight, etc…
Discontinuous data
Only have a value from a limited set of values.
E.g. Hair colour, eye colour…
Classification
Sorting organisms into groups
Inherited variation
Passed on (in the genes) from one generation to the next.
Normal distribution
When many individuals have a middle value for a feature, with fewer things having greater or lesser values.
This sort of data forms a bell-shaped on charts and graphs.
